YDWC President Giacalone’s Statement on the Success of the 2022 Election Kick-Off and Fundraiser

Naperville, Ill. - The following is a statement from Young Democrats of Will County President Tyler Giacalone on the success of the joint 2022 Election Kick-Off and fundraiser with Kane and Kendall County Young Democrats:

“I’d like to thank our amazing speakers for taking the time to provide valuable remarks at the event, and our attendees and donors, who made this event possible in the first place! I'd also like to extend thanks to IBEW Hall for hosting us, as well as Nora Gruenberg and Julie Gondar, the chairs of the Will and Kendall County Democratic Parties, for providing invaluable help with this event. It was an honor to work with the newly chartered chapters of Kane and Kendall County Young Dems to help them raise funds to carry out their mission, and we are beyond excited to watch these two organizations thrive. We were able to raise over $5,000.00 at the event, and we will be directing these funds towards our youth voter registration efforts. Once again, thank you all for helping us make this event such a success; we cannot express how grateful we are for your support!”
