Why are you running for office?

Public service is my calling. I enjoy solving problems for constituents and being available for their questions and requests. I truly believe that we each owe a duty to serve society in some capacity.

What do you see as the role of Young People in our communities and our Party?

Our participatory democracy requires citizens’ education and involvement to keep our Union strong. The energy of young adults reminds and motivates the rest to renew one’s commitment to citizenship and its requirements. Our youngest neighbors & friends have the most to gain from a robust and successful society.

If elected to office, what will you do to elevate the voices and concerns of Young People?

No minds are more open, no eyes so keen, as the young among us. Their desire to learn, understand, share, and toil inspires those they encounter. The fabric of our shared hopes and dreams is sewn tighter when we reach out for the participation of all. My office includes a wide range of people employed. Only by recruiting and teaching the younger among us do we preserve the value of our institutions.

Why are you proud to be a member of the Democratic Party?

My fellow Democrats share my belief that until the least among us has opportunity to succeed, liberty to hope, and full freedoms of expression none of us is safe to do so. I see Democrats truly striving to ensure the promises of America are available to all.
