While I am a few years beyond being a Young Democrat, I want to include an important reminder; It is never too late to make a difference.
Why are you running for office?
I am running for Will County Board simply because our current representatives have become too comfortable in their roles. Ideas and actions are stagnant in our district. Their focus has moved away from the betterment of Will County and onto their own agenda. I will change that.
What do you see as the role of Young People in our communities and our Party?
I applaud and fully support the Young People (Democrats) of Will County in their efforts to defend Democracy and educate our future leaders. The actions you take now and the support you're given from us will determine what your future will look like.
If elected to office, what will you do to elevate the voices and concerns of Young People?
I will see you. I will hear you. I will stand with you. I will stand for you. I would encourage all Young People to get involved and engage their local government.
Why are you proud to be a member of the Democratic Party?
I am proud because Democrats work to: restore and strengthen Democracy, improve our immigration system, provide healthcare and education to all, build a strong and fair economy, battle our climate crisis and work towards criminal justice reform. We work to protect human rights every day.
