Hello Young Democrats!

It is an honor to serve as your Young Democrats president since our chartering. We founded this organization with the expressed purpose of representing the Democratic Party to young people, and young people to the Democratic Party, and since then, we have worked tirelessly to make sure your voices are being heard.

When we get involved in campaigns, Democrats win; when we make phone calls to voters, knock on their doors, register our friends and family to vote, Democrats win; and when we run for office and join the next generation of progressive leaders within our communities, Democrats WIN!

But our fight has always been more than just electing Democrats: it has been to empower and amplify the calls of young people across our county. More young people voted in 2020 than ever before, leading to Democrats being elected at all levels of government. But what’s more is that more Young Democrats than ever before ran for office! We are the future of the party, and our calls for racial justice, for environmental justice, for economic justice are being heard. And we at the Young Democrats of Will County are fighting to make sure our elected officials hear our demands for action loud and clear.
