Gabrielle Iglesias | Research Director

Gabrielle (Gabi) Iglesias is a senior at Neuqua Valley High School. She has been a part of the Young Democrats of Will County since September of 2021, and works as a Research Director. She has also worked for HSDA, the High School Democrats of America, since early September of 2019. Along with this, Gabi has had the opportunity to work for the Kader Sakkaria campaign to join the school board of the Indian Prairie District 204 from 2020 to April of 2021. She currently does phone banking and canvassing for the Lauren Underwood campaign as a Youth Ambassador. Gabi is also part of the Will County’s Student Ambassador Program, and is looking forward to being able to help register fellow 17 and 18 year old students to vote in the upcoming primaries. At her high school, Neuqua Valley, she is the acting President of UNICEF Club, Secretary of the Interact Community Service Club, and a member of MUN. Along with this, Gabi volunteers at her local community’s animal shelter, NAHC, Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium, and tutors both French and Spanish to middle and high schoolers. Gabi is passionate about politics and environmental law, and is truly excited to be working with the Young Democrats of Will County.
